ABOUT ME (KASHMEA)
My Beliefs and Ethos
I believe that with the right guidance and hard work, each child has the potential to achieve any goal they set their mind to. My aim is to ensure that children feel confident and are able to apply tackle any question they encounter by using a systematic approach. Attending NLCS has helped me to gain a new perspective, raise my ambitions and has allowed me to surround myself with like-minded competitive students and I want everyone else to be able to have the same experience.
My Experience and Qualifications
I'm currently in my second year of University, and applied for a variety of grammar and private schools during my 11+ process. I passed all the written tests for some of the top schools in the country including: St Pauls, Henrietta Barnet, Tiffin's, Godolphin and Latymer, Notting Hill and Ealing and of course, NLCS.
I've been tutoring children aged between 7-14 for over 4 years to help them achieve their goals of attending their dream schools. As a tutor, I help both parents and students along this stressful process, especially for first-time parents who are unfamiliar with the process.
I recently achieved 11 '9s' (roughly an A* in the new grading system) in my iGCSEs and predicted a 44/45 in my IB examinations with offers from Russel Group Universities to join in 2023. I've also been a member of the Mensa organisation since 2016 when I was awarded the title of the youngest girl in UK to ever achieve the maximum IQ of 162. The Mensa exam was a series of NVR and VR questions under pressuring timed conditions.
